On Chris' titular rap Paper Tigers, Asante plays the congas on the soundtrack composed on the fly in the studio by Ronnie B. Two tracks were recorded with the late great Sid Simmonsa beloved elder of the Philadelphia jazz scene and lifetime collaborator of Grover Washington, Jr. Oberlin conservatory graduate Adam Faulk is an always-in-demand Philadephia session player who's worked extensively with Billy Paul and also leads his own group. Adam contributed the composition Center City BluesLarry Estes is a mainstay of Pittsburgh's blues-rock-jazz-fusion clubs and the goto session player for all things funk and R&B. Tom Jordan is an alum of Eastman School of Music and a veteran of both Ray Charles band and the Kennedy Center Orchestra.
